THE ENVIRON BRAND
The pioneer of the brand Dr. Des Fernandes is one of the top 5 plastic surgeons in the world. Living in South Africa, he has conducted many studies into skin melanoma (cancer). What continues to drive Dr. Des Fernandes, was the life-changing event where he lost 2 patients under the age of 30 to skin cancer. The research, which is inextricably linked to the loss of patients, has created the wonderful knowledge about vitamin A and the value of the ingredient as a cornerstone of Environ's skin care philosophy that has existed since 1990.
The skin loses nutrients such as vitamin A and antioxidants every day due to sun exposure and harmful environmental factors. With a lot of passion and dedication, Dr. Des developed a product that keeps the skin healthy and radiant.
THE SKIN AND VITAMIN A
Vitamin A is an essential ingredient for healthy skin, everyone in the world has a chronic vitamin A deficiency and unfortunately this is a fact backed by science. This is due to the influences of pollution in the air, exposure to the sun and regular use of the sunbed, stress and so on. The skin's number 1 function is to protect and is our largest organ, so we must take good care of it!
Environ has discovered that the cells in the skin have a storage function for vitamin A. Unfortunately, due to the above influences, the vitamin A 'evaporates' from the skin to protect it. Once there is a vitamin A deficiency, the healthy functioning of a skin cell has become impossible. Vitamin A deficiencies cause faster aging, pigment damage and problems, impure skin with inflammation (acne), barrier problems such as dehydration and sensitivity. Every skin type and condition will benefit from Environ and will visibly improve and become healthier.
WHAT DOES VITAMIN A DO FOR THE SKIN?

BUILDING VITAMIN A
Environ works with the STEP-UP SYSTEM™ to supplement every skin that is deficient in vitamin A with the essential vitamin on a daily basis. Because the skin still has to get used to the dose and 'learns' to process it, it is important that it is built up slowly. If you go too fast, the so-called retinoid reaction occurs. This is a reaction of the skin that cannot yet process the vitamin A and manifests itself in redness, itching and a tingling sensation. If this reaction occurs, it is important to first contact the beautician who recommended the brand to you. There is also no advantage to using too high a dose too quickly, because unfortunately a skin deterioration becomes visible instead of a skin improvement. Therefore ALWAYS start with AVST 1 or the C-QUENCE SERUM 1.
THE IMPORTANCE OF THE ROUTINE
All Environ products work together, starting with cleaning. The following product advice is basically the same for everyone, problems and areas for improvement are addressed with specific products. Always ask for advice about this from the Environ specialist!
Step 1: Pre-cleansing oil - pre-cleansing based on Jojoba oil, which gently but intensively cleanses the skin and adheres to dirt, make-up and SPF
Step 2: Cleansing lotion or Cleansing gel - a gentle skin cleanser that keeps the natural moisture and fat balance intact.
Step 3: Moisturizing toner - 1st step of the care, restores the PH value, soothes the skin and has a complex of strong antioxidants
Step 4: AVST 1 - the daily dose of vitamin A applied in the morning and evening
Step 5: RAD Antioxidant or RAD Shield SPF 15 - the daily (sun)light protector and vitamin protector. Based on natural filters supplemented with antioxidants.
These products are the most important in the construction and start-up of Environ. The routine as described above is for skin aged 20-25 years, the routines are tailored to areas for improvement and skin condition. Always ask for advice about which products suit your skin best for the best results.
